East Boston Local Roots

On its About page, the retailer says East Boston residents inspired the business. It frames its purpose around locally sourced products, a safe customer experience, and service to customers and the community. Those are the company’s stated aims, not independent findings about its current shelves or service. A Boston municipal record supplies the firmer historical anchor: a 2022 Cannabis Board voting agenda shows that the applicant’s request to use East Boston Cannabis Co. as its DBA was granted. That distinction matters when checking listings. The WordPress record retains East Boston Local Roots, while Google Maps displays East Boston Cannabis Co.; the city action connects the names at the same address.

The current Google listing marks a wheelchair-accessible entrance and restroom. The retailer says it accepts cash, debit cards and Aeropay and has an ATM in the store; check these details before visiting because they can change.

For route planning, Google Routes lists South Station as a 5.5-mile, 11-minute drive or a 4.56-mile, 90-minute walk. TD Garden is listed as a 4.84-mile, 14-minute drive or a 4.79-mile, 96-minute walk. The driving estimates are traffic-unaware, not live-traffic guidance.
