Nature’s Medicines – Fall River

Fall River Reporter framed the opening as a reuse story: a building associated with a former local restaurant now housed an entirely different product. The paper reported that Nature’s Medicines began serving Massachusetts medical-marijuana patients there in December 2018. Five months later, the New Bedford Standard-Times described the company as one of the city’s early cannabis applicants and reported that it had obtained provisional state approval to add recreational sales. That distinction matters: the 2019 article did not establish final recreational approval for this store and should not be read as proof of present-day status. What remains concrete is the continuity of one Globe Street address across two very different Fall River businesses.
