An undated Alignable profile carries BLeaf’s claim that it is female and family-owned in its hometown of Ware; the same profile emphasizes a homey atmosphere and budtenders focused on helping customers choose. On its About page, the retailer says it hopes its downtown Ware location will encourage other businesses to open on Main Street. The community story is therefore tied to a specific place: BLeaf presents its shop as one participant in the future of Ware’s Main Street.
