Aura – Fall River

The backstory runs through a land-use debate. In November 2020, The Herald News reported that attorney Brian R. Corey, representing Aura managing member Stephen Biszko, said Biszko chose to consolidate the proposed operations when the former BK’s Tavern site became available. The Fall River Industrial Park Association objected and requested a traffic study, association review of signage, and limits on marketing to park employees. Mayor Paul Coogan argued that added traffic alone was not a reason to oppose the investment. At that point, a city agreement had granted a location-transfer request, while final state approval remained pending. That chronology explains the Airport Road choice without turning a 2020 proposal into a claim about current facilities or traffic.
