Privacy Policy: Global Search for METRC
Last updated: October 19, 2026
Global Search for METRC (“the extension”) is a Chrome extension made by Good Feels Inc. It adds a search box to METRC (*.metrc.com) so you can search the records in your own METRC account. This policy explains what the extension handles and what it does with it.
The extension is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Metrc LLC.
What the extension reads
To search, the extension reads METRC records your METRC account can already see, such as packages, transfers, items, tags, locations, and employees. It gets them from METRC’s own server, using the session you’re already logged in with, the same way METRC’s pages do. It only runs on *.metrc.com pages.
What the extension stores, and where
Everything stays in your own browser.
- Search history. Each entry is the text you searched plus a timestamp. It’s kept in
chrome.storage.local, up to 50 entries per METRC site and license. You can delete entries one at a time or all at once from the results page. In incognito windows, history is kept in memory only and is cleared when the last incognito window closes. - Short-lived link tokens. Result links carry a random token instead of your search text, so searches and record names stay out of Chrome’s browsing history. What a token stands for is kept in memory (
chrome.storage.session) and is cleared when Chrome closes. - Grid definitions. The names of METRC’s endpoints and fields, cached in memory (
chrome.storage.session) for up to 12 hours. These are never record data.
Search results are never saved.
What the extension sends, and to whom
The extension sends requests only to the METRC site you’re using, from your own METRC tab. It does not send any data to Good Feels Inc. or anyone else. It has no server, no analytics, no tracking, no ads, and no third-party code. It loads no remote code.
The results page has a “Built by Good Feels Inc.” credit with a link to goodvibessyrup.com. That link opens only if you click it. It opens in a new tab and sends no referrer.
Sale and use of data
Good Feels Inc. does not collect, sell, or share your data. The extension does not use data for any purpose other than searching METRC for you. It does not use data for advertising, and it does not use data to determine creditworthiness or for lending.
Removing your data
Uninstalling the extension deletes everything it stored. You can also clear your search history from the extension’s results page at any time.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated date.
