Fine Fettle’s West Tisbury chapter now reads as a business-transition story. The Martha’s Vineyard Times reported in March 2025 that the wooden State Road building formerly housed the retailer and that Black Harbor Group had removed and stored its contents after a lease did not come together. The Vineyard Gazette reported that Connecticut-based Fine Fettle purchased the West Tisbury cultivation and retail business from Geoff Rose of Patient Centric in 2021; in May 2024, the newspaper reported that Fine Fettle was closing. The Martha’s Vineyard Times later reported that Black Harbor Group purchased the business and growing operation in 2024 and hoped to open its own dispensary at 510 State Road.
